Plot
A fairy tale in which a princess flees her father, who wants to marry her, by disguising herself in the skin of a magic donkey.
Sinekatalog’s take
Jacques Demy's candy-coloured musical fairy tale has Catherine Deneuve fleeing her father in a donkey's hide. Whimsical, anachronistic and odd, with Michel Legrand songs, it is a charming, strange confection.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
