Plot
A woman marries a patroon in nineteenth-century New York.
Sinekatalog’s take
Joseph L. Mankiewicz's gothic romance has Gene Tierney marrying Vincent Price's sinister patroon. Atmospheric and melodramatic, with Price menacing, it is a handsome, shadowy chiller in the Rebecca mould.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
