Sinekatalog’s take
Hitchcock's gothic romance leaves its heroine haunted by the dead first wife of her husband. Judith Anderson's Mrs Danvers is a classic villain, and the film, his first in Hollywood, won Best Picture.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
