Sinekatalog’s take
Emilio Fernández's Mexican Revolution romance has a general falling for a proud woman in a conquered town. María Félix and Pedro Armendáriz are fiery in a sweeping, beautifully shot Taming-of-the-Shrew-like classic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
