Sinekatalog’s take
Lars von Trier's postwar thriller is a visually dazzling nightmare mixing black-and-white and colour. Max von Sydow's hypnotic narration frames a stylised, dreamlike descent into moral confusion.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
