Sinekatalog’s take
Jean Renoir's Technicolor musical dramatises the founding of the Moulin Rouge. Colourful and exuberant, with Jean Gabin and a rousing cancan finale, it is a joyful, painterly celebration of showbiz.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
