Sinekatalog’s take

Manoel de Oliveira's last feature adapts Raul Brandão's play about an honest accountant who covers for his criminal son. Michael Lonsdale, Jeanne Moreau and Claudia Cardinale star in a stagey, dark and quietly masterful chamber piece.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
