Sinekatalog’s take

Roberto Rossellini's wartime drama has Vittorio De Sica as a small-time conman forced to impersonate a Resistance hero in occupied Genoa. De Sica is superb, and the film's slow moral transformation is moving and tense.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
