Sinekatalog’s take
Gillo Pontecorvo's harrowing drama follows a Jewish girl who survives a Nazi camp by becoming a kapo and losing her humanity. Susan Strasberg is strong, and the film's moral shock still unsettles, despite debates about its tactics.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
