An industrial family's fall under the Nazis.
Sinekatalog’s take
Luchino Visconti's operatic family tragedy shows a steel dynasty rotting under the Nazis. Lurid, decadent and excessive, with Helmut Berger and Ingrid Thulin, it is a grand, shocking melodrama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
