Sinekatalog’s take

The Taviani Brothers' wartime fable recalls villagers fleeing the retreating Germans through a child's memories. Lyrical, folkloric and moving, it blends harsh war with fairy-tale wonder in a rich Tuscan canvas.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
