Plot
Major Tom Egan, an Air Force pilot who once flew fighter jets, now kills from a trailer in Nevada by flying drones over Afghanistan. The work, and the orders from the CIA, begin to break him.
Sinekatalog’s take
Andrew Niccol's drama, with Ethan Hawke and January Jones, is a serious, sombre look at drone warfare and the moral injury of killing at a distance. It is blunt and sometimes preachy, but Hawke is convincing and the film is thoughtful on a subject cinema has rarely handled.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
