Sinekatalog’s take
Ousmane Sembène's drama follows a dispute between Christians and Muslims over the burial of a Christian activist in a Senegalese village. Sharp, funny and humane, it is a rich satire on aid, faith and post-colonial pride.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
