Takashi Miike's remake of Kobayashi's samurai classic is a restrained, sombre tragedy. Handsomely shot in 3D with a poignant story of honour and hypocrisy, it is a surprisingly quiet, moving entry from Miike.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
