Plot
A restoration of a 1942 Serbian film with documentary additions.
Sinekatalog’s take
Dušan Makavejev revisits a 1942 Serbian film made under Nazi occupation by its own acrobat-hero, cutting in interviews and newsreels. Playful and moving, it is a clever, affectionate collage on cinema, courage and memory.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
