Sinekatalog’s take

Marco Bellocchio's historical drama recounts a Jewish boy seized by papal police in 1858 and his family's fight. Sweeping, operatic and angry, it is a powerful look at religion, power and identity.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
