Sinekatalog’s take
Brillante Mendoza's drama follows two Manila grandmothers, one whose grandson was murdered, the other whose grandson is the accused, as they scrape together money in the monsoon. Anita Linda and Rustica Carpio are moving in a humane and raw film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
