Sinekatalog’s take

Rainer Werner Fassbinder's debut is a deadpan, stylised gangster tale of a small-time crook and a pair of lovers. Static and cool, with nods to Godard and Melville, it announced a bold, oddly poetic new voice.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
