A woman spy in Shanghai during the war.
Sinekatalog’s take
Ang Lee's wartime espionage drama is a slow, tense, sensual thriller about a young woman and her target. Tang Wei and Tony Leung give brave performances, and the period Shanghai is meticulously rendered.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
