Sinekatalog’s take
Tengiz Abuladze and Rezo Chkheidze's short film follows a poor Georgian woman whose donkey is her only treasure, with a gentle satire of bureaucracy. Humane and poetic, it won Cannes' best short fiction in 1956.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
