Plot
A young woman's hopes and daydreams, and a man's search for a mythical tree that grants wishes.
Sinekatalog’s take
Tengiz Abuladze's lyrical Georgian film weaves a young woman's daydreams with a man's search for a mythical tree that grants wishes. Poetic, folkloric and gently comic, it is a luminous prelude to his later Repentance.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
