A filmmaker visits his home village and uses his family for his film. English title: Clouds of May.
Sinekatalog’s take
Nuri Bilge Ceylan films his own family in his home village, with a director character who borrows them for his film. A dry, gently funny self-portrait about the selfishness of art that finds its subject in stillness and small talk.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
