Plot

A peasant in revolutionary Russia.

Sinekatalog’s take

Benjamin Christensen's silent drama has Lon Chaney as a simple Russian peasant swept up in revolution, protecting a countess and being mocked for it. Chaney's performance is moving in a vivid but melodramatic and sometimes dated film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
