Plot

A news anchor's on-air breakdown makes him a ratings sensation and exposes the cynicism of television.

Sinekatalog’s take

Sidney Lumet and Paddy Chayefsky's media satire has an anchorman who rants on air and becomes a ratings hit. Sharply written, with the 'mad as hell' speech, and prescient about news as entertainment.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
