Plot

A fragmentary film about a family with two small children who live in the Mexican countryside, with a red devil, rugby, and a steam bath.

Sinekatalog’s take

Carlos Reygadas's fragmentary film drifts through a family's rural life with a red devil and rugby. Dreamlike, blurry-edged and audacious, it won the Cannes directing prize and divided audiences sharply.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
