Sinekatalog’s take

Henri-Georges Clouzot's noir mixes murder with Paris music-hall life and a sharp police inspector. Louis Jouvet is superb, and the film's atmospheric streets and wry humanity make a gripping, sophisticated whodunit.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
