Sinekatalog’s take
Julien Duvivier's thriller has a small town turn on a lonely outsider after a woman's murder. Michel Simon is superb in a dark, tight and unsettling study of mob mentality and scapegoating.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
