Sinekatalog’s take
Edward Dmytryk's Civil War epic follows an Indiana man torn between a Southern belle and a good woman. Lush and overlong, with Montgomery Clift and Elizabeth Taylor, it is a handsome if sprawling, sentimental drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
