Sinekatalog’s take

King Vidor's adaptation of Tolstoy is handsome and star-studded, with Audrey Hepburn a lovely Natasha. Compressed and conventional, it captures the spectacle better than the novel's depth.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
