Sinekatalog’s take
Renato Castellani's colourful Shakespeare, shot on location in Verona and Venice, casts Laurence Harvey and Susan Shentall in a pictorial staging. Handsome and Renaissance-inspired, it is a lovely-looking but stiff version that won the Golden Lion.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
