Sinekatalog’s take
King Vidor's melodrama follows a swamp girl who marries rich and faces local scorn and a thwarted passion for Charlton Heston. Jennifer Jones is fiery in a lurid, steamy and tragic Southern drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
