Sinekatalog’s take
King Vidor's classic weepie has Barbara Stanwyck sacrificing everything so her daughter can enter high society. Stanwyck is heartbreaking, and the film's famous ending still devastates.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
