Sinekatalog’s take

King Vidor's Depression-era drama follows jobless people forming a farming cooperative on a derelict farm. Sincere and earnest, with a stirring irrigation-ditch finale, it is an optimistic, communal and touching film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
