Plot

A historical tale of revenge.

Sinekatalog’s take

Chen Kaige's historical drama retells the ancient Chinese tale of the Zhao orphan and a doctor who gives up his own child to save him. Handsome and grand, it is a heavy, stately and somewhat stiff revenge epic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
