Isabelle HuppertPlot
An abortionist in Vichy France.
Sinekatalog’s take
Claude Chabrol's drama follows Isabelle Huppert as a mother who becomes an abortionist in Vichy France. Cool, humane and hard-hitting, with Huppert superb, it is an unflinching study of survival and moral cost in wartime.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
