Sinekatalog’s take
Jacques Demy's Japanese-French co-production adapts the manga about a woman raised as a boy to serve Marie Antoinette. Stylish and pretty but strangely flat, it is an odd, uneven curiosity that didn't capture the source's appeal.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
