A film produced by the NFDC that deals with labour issues.
Sinekatalog’s take
Kumar Shahani's NFDC film, with Smita Patil, Amol Palekar and Girish Karnad, deals with labour, class and family in an industrial dynasty. Stylised and political, with painterly sets, it is an ambitious, formal and challenging film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
