Sinekatalog’s take
Kumar Shahani's NFDC-produced drama, from a Chekhov story, follows a rural man and a woman amid class and desire. Austere and visually stylised, it is a difficult, formal film of Indian art cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
