Sinekatalog’s take
Vittorio De Sica's early drama sees a family's collapse through a small boy's eyes after his mother leaves. Luciano De Ambrosis is heartbreaking in a gentle, devastating film that predicts neorealism.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
