Sinekatalog’s take
Alan Bridges's drama follows a 1920s chauffeur and the depressed aristocrat he drives, whose bond crosses class lines and invites disaster. Robert Shaw and Sarah Miles are superb in a restrained, painful and fine adaptation of L.P. Hartley.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
