Sinekatalog’s take
Benjamin Christensen's early Danish spy thriller is praised for its moody lighting and fine shadows, as a naval officer is drawn into betrayal. Christensen also stars in a surprisingly modern, tense film that points toward his later brilliance.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
