Sinekatalog’s take

Louis Lumière's 1895 one-minute film shows a boy stepping on a gardener's hose, in one of cinema's first fictional gags. Simple and charming, it is the founding sight gag of film comedy and still wins a smile.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
