Plot
A Viennese prince pushed to marry for money falls in love with a poor girl from the city.
Sinekatalog’s take
Erich von Stroheim's silent romance sets a Viennese prince pressured to marry for money against a poor girl he loves. Lavish, decadent and bittersweet, with Fay Wray, it is a luxuriant, ironic study of class.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
