Plot

Two elderly sisters spend their summer in a house on the Maine coast, as the younger one cares for the other, who is blind and irritable.

Sinekatalog’s take

Lindsay Anderson's quiet drama pairs Lillian Gish and Bette Davis as elderly sisters in a Maine summer house. Gentle and moving, with Vincent Price charming, it is a graceful farewell for two Hollywood legends.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
