Sinekatalog’s take
Victor Sjöström's silent masterpiece sends Lillian Gish to the Texas plains where the wind slowly drives her mad. Gish is astonishing, and the film's storm imagery makes a powerful study of isolation and dread.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
