Plot
A husband's old flame upsets his family life.
Sinekatalog’s take
Douglas Sirk's quiet melodrama has Fred MacMurray's dutiful husband unsettled by a former flame, Barbara Stanwyck. Restrained and sad, with sharp images of suburban confinement, it is a poignant, underrated weepie.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
