Plot

Laura, a woman who cannot bear to be touched, explores intimacy through therapy, performance and encounters with other people, among them a man with a disfigured body and a transgender sex worker. Adina Pintilie's 2018 film, which mixes fiction with documentary and uses non-actors, is an experimental study of bodies and desire, and won the Golden Bear in Berlin.
