Sinekatalog’s take

Aleksei German's wartime drama follows a correspondent on a short leave in Tashkent, drifting through awkward encounters and a film shoot. Yuri Nikulin is subtle in a quiet, ironic, humane portrait of war's distance and ache.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
