Sinekatalog’s take

Henri Colpi's Palme d'Or winner follows a Paris café owner who believes a tramp is her husband, taken by the Gestapo sixteen years earlier. Alida Valli is superb in a quiet, aching study of memory and wartime wounds.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
