Sinekatalog’s take
Marcel Carné's poetic realist classic follows a killer barricaded in a hotel room, recalling his fate. Jean Gabin is magnetic, and the film's fatalism and flashbacks influenced noir for years.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
